MACLENNAN-LSE were contacted by the Architects to assist in the design of the waterproofing of the new council office is Salisbury. The design was particularly complex as many of the walls inside were to be face concrete, but because of the intended construction a Type A system was out of the question.
In the end a compromise to the construction had to be made and the use of all three types of waterproofing systems was employed
For areas were an internal system could not be used. A Type A membrane ( GRACE Preprufe) was used combined with a Type B PVC water bar was used (GRACE Servitite )

Which was finished with plasterboard adhered over the membrane. used combined with a Type B PVC water bar was used (GRACE Servitite )
