DECK WATERPROOFING
Maclennan-LSE have a range of deck waterproofing systems. Polyurea spraying is very fast, durable and waterproof in seconds, the Polyprufe Polyurea system bonds very strongly to the deck surface whether it is concrete , wood, insulation or metal. The deck is prepared and primed with an epoxy primer then sprayed. It can be walked on in seconds within 24 hours the surface will take heavy vehicle . Its ideal for decks, car parks, wet rooms, canals and reservoirs as well as over coating old existing roofs which can be of failed asphalt, concrete timber asbestos or metal.
The system is Flexible, seamless, Finished and dry in seconds, abrasion and impact resistant and fully bonded to the substrate.
Maclennan-LSE have roof and deck systems for new decks and the repair of failed systems. Maclennan-LSE surveyors will quote for new decks and roofs from drawings but for failed or leaking roofs and decks a survey will be necessary.
Repair
Where the roof survey reveals only minor damage to localised areas, Maclennan-LSE roof renovation products provide an effective and cost-efficient method of reinstating the integrity of the roof covering.
Localised replacement

Where the survey reveals more serious damage, but that this is confined to particular areas of the roof, localised replacement provides a much more economical solution than total replacement. Maclennan-LSE have systems and products that will lap and join onto existing surface coatings and coverings.
Retrofit

Where widespread damage to the existing covering is revealed, but where this has not yet resulted in damage to the insulation or structure, retrofit may be an appropriate option. In retrofit a the Polyprufe Polyurea system or a hand applied polyurethane roof covering is laid over and fully bonded to the existing membrane. This avoids the cost and inconvenience of removal works.
Replacement
Where the entire roof has failed, it may be necessary to strip out the existing roofcovering and replace it entirely. At the same time, if there has been damage to the insulation or structure, full remedial works should be undertaken prior to installation of the new roof system. Offering exceptional durability, flexibility and strength, the Maclennan-LSE systems provide the ideal replacement or new roof.

Maclennan-LSE are Grace approved contractors, their traffic deck system is a multi layer waterproofing system for all forms of decks. The traffic system can be covered with shingle, concrete slabs etc or can have root barriers and membranes installed over the top for a full green roof system.

For Bridges we have Bituthene® 5000 HD & Bitushield is a combined flexible bridge deck waterproofing and protection system that will accept hot rolled asphalt. Bituthene 5000 HD is a preformed, cold applied sheet membrane, comprising a heavy duty polypropylene mesh and self-adhesive rubber/bitumen compound protected with a silicone release paper. Bitushield is a cold applied, self adhesive membrane comprising a non-woven polyester reinforced mineralised felt.
