The Barley Moe Public House was being converted into two private houses. The cellar has a sump and appears to have flooded in the past. The developers needed a full water proofing system with sumps and pumps in both basements that would deal with waste from utility machines such as washing and dishwashing as well as ground water.
The walls were very damp and made of a mixture of brick flint and chalk with lime wash and emulsion over. Any cement or epoxy system would have been totally unsuitable.
The Maclennan-LSE cavity drain system was installed in about 4 days by our fully trained operatives.
No preparation of the walls was required. Drying times were minimal as the system was dry lined. The system was guaranteed for 10 years with an insurance backed guarantee. The Guarantee can be renewed every 10 years if the system is serviced by Maclennan-LSE
Maclennan-LSE take the risk out of Waterproofing. Maclennan-LSE is the trading name for LSE Building Preservation Ltd.
